Product Description

The AeroPress coffee maker is a completely new kind of coffee press that brews amazingly delicious coffee. Using the ideal water temperature and gentle air pressure brewing yields rich flavor with lower acidity and without bitterness. Total immersion brewing results in uniform extraction of the ultimate in full coffee flavor. Other coffee makers drip hot water on bed of grounds, over extracting at the center and under extracting at the edge. Micro filtered for grit free coffee – unlike other press-type coffee makers. Only one minute from start to enjoy! The actual press time takes only 20 seconds. Since its introduction in late 2005, it has become the brewer of choice for serious coffee lovers around the world. It was invented by Alan Adler, Stanford University engineering instructor and famous Aerobie sport products inventor. Alan loves good coffee and he was disappointed with the taste of home brewed coffee. Being a scientist, he carefully studied the science of coffee brewing to determine the ideal brewing conditions for brewing the best tasting coffee. The AeroPress brews coffee under those ideal conditions, resulting in delicious coffee with all the beautiful coffee flavors but without bitterness. Features: Rapid, total immersion brewing process makes delicious rich flavored coffee without bitterness Brews 1 to 4 cups per pressing in about one minute Brews American style drip coffee Brews espresso style coffee for use in lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso based drinks Microfiltered means no grit in your cup (unlike a French press) Clean up takes just seconds Made in the U.S.A. Includes 350 microfilters

    Make better coffee! 6/25/2015
    Desert Lion from Beavercreek, OH

If you like great coffee, this is the way to get the most out of it. My sister introduced me to it and I had to get one. My daughter worked in a boutique coffee shop. I made her a cup using this. She described it as the best she's had since she left the shop! Better and easier than a French Press - makes better coffee, especially from fine ground beans. Easy to Clean - Press the grounds well, then open and remove the filter, pop what's left into the compost bin. Get the most out of every bean!

    SMOOTH 6/17/2015
    DugeeFresh from Spring TX

I have many different coffee makers and this is the quickest for up to 16 oz. It's easy to clean, but you need to apply pressure so it's not for the weak. I use 8 0-Clock Central Highland beans ground fine add 2 scoops for a 16oz mug o joe. Wet the paper filter in the holder before attaching I find it helps the brewing. Great smooth coffee.

    Just OK 6/14/2015
    Scherry from Payson

Purchased this item for camping. Tried this morning and the resulting espresso was ok... no competition for my electric Krups or even my little Italian stovetop espresso maker. Bottom line: it's a gimmick.

    An excellent coffee maker 6/12/2015
    billy sharpstick from Tampa, FL

This is our third Aeropress. We've been using them for several years. My wife drinks decaf, so uses this when we are visiting or traveling. The only reason I don't use it more is that you can only make about two cups worth at a time. I generally use a press to make cold pressed(load it at night and let it steep all night.) It also requires more labor and concentration than I tend to be capable of before I've had my coffee!

    Great Coffee! 5/2/2015

Quite possibly makes the best cup of coffee at home. Tastes different than coffee brewed from a french press but just as tasty nonetheless.

    Great little device 4/2/2015

I drink quite a bit of coffee while at work but don't always feel like making a pot. We have a certain single cup machine that I bought an adapter for to use regular coffee. What that produces is not coffee, its brown water. The Aeropress gives me a real cup of joe. I use said machine now just for the hot water. Its about all it does well.

    Amazing Coffee! 3/25/2015

The AeroPress is an amazing product - it is so easy to clean and use. While there are more parts involved, it takes about the same amount of time to brew a cup of coffee as a Keurig would but the taste is infinitely better. It's great to experiment with different recipes, methods, and steep times - each cup of coffee can be personalized to the drinker's tastes. I absolutely love the AeroPress!

Super simple and great coffee 2/16/2015

Much easier than a french press, and easier to clean, and smaller (could be used for travel). Also, less fragile since no glass.

    The best coffee maker 12/3/2014
    Cory Roberts from Lakewood, OH

I've been making pour-overs for many years, and after getting a bit tired of the inconsistency (no doubt caused by my morning sleepiness) I went ahead and ordered the Aeropress. Wow! What a great cup from the first try. Filters are reusable too (just rinse) so it's a great ecofriendly product. I may get a stainless steel filter for a more French press like cup, but for now, without even tweaking the default instructions, it produces a similar great tasting cup every time.

    Great coffee, great price! 10/28/2014
    Paula from Cheyenne, WY

I am very excited about my new AeroPress. Four months I have researched espresso makers and have not found one in my price range with consistently postive reviews. The Areobie AreoPress has solved that problem. It makes a fantastically flavorful coffee at a fraction of the cost and no mechanical parts to worry about failing. I found that the upside down full immersion method works best. See the how to's on YouTube.
